How should I prepare my dog for grooming?
We love partnering with our clients to make sure the grooming process is as stress free and enjoyable as possible for our furry friends. Our grooming salon is set up to make your pet feel welcome, safe and comfortable. Our professional groomers make sure your dog is well cared for, enjoys their grooming session and looks and feels their best! What is the difference between a standard bath and a dog hydrobath
A standard bath works the same as your bath at home. A hydrobath has a recirculation pump that keeps a continuous output flow of water and shampoo which achieves a very deep but gentle clean of even the thickest coats.
How do I know if I should book my dog in for nail clipping?
Dog nail clipping is an important item to include regularly in your dogs grooming schedule. Each breed is different but as general guide have your dogs nails checked and clipped every 4-8 weeks. Read 6 Reasons Why Regular Dog Nail Clipping is Important for more information.
Do you have a pick up / drop off service?
We don’t currently have a drop off / pick up service. We are working on it and will have something in place in the near future.
What are the prerequisites to visit Melbourne Pet Grooming?
All our furry friend clients must have current vaccinations; C5 for dogs and F3 for cats. Please ensure your pets flea, worm and tick treatments are current.
My dog weighs more than 15kgs. How will I know how much grooming will cost?
Our Dog Grooming Menu quotes prices for dogs weighing up to 15kgs. Please confirm your dogs weight prior to visiting to confirm any additional charge.
Is the 15% first visit discount per pet family or per pet?
It’s per pet – each of your furry friends is eligible for a 15% first visit discount.
Can I pay for multiple visits and save as a 'frequent flyer'?
Not currently but we are planning a frequent visitor loyalty discount……stay tuned! In the meantime, sign up to birthday club for 20% off birthday visits!
What are your opening hours?
Our opening hours are as follows: Monday- Fri 7am – 6pm, Saturday and Sunday: 9am – 5pm
What pets other than dogs and Cats can enrol for Pet Day Care?
We can cater for Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Hamsters and most birds. If you have another type of pet, call us to discuss!
How do I join my pet into the birthday club for 20% off birthday visit?
We will ask you on your first visit if you would like to join and get you enrolled then.
Do you cater for overnight pet stays?
We cater for either half or full day pet stays. Unfortunately we cannot cater for overnight stays.
